I’m so excited you’re checking our Programs! There are a couple of things you need to know. First being a musician is a lot of fun! It is also a lot of work. It takes time and dedication, not just from your child but from you as well. It takes multiple years to become proficient but it is worth the effort. Whether your child becomes a career musician or a casual musician there are many benefits and much enjoyment to be gained by understanding and creating music. Imagine Christmas Carols around the Piano, community talent shows or songs around the campfire. Music is meant to be brought to life and shared with family! Speaking of which, your student will need your family to cheer them on because- as I mentioned earlier- it takes time, and discouragement may creep in. The good news is that although some of what your student learns may be difficult at first, our classes are fun! I love to have fun myself and hate being bored! We play games and create awesome music. Students get to take part in live performances, learn from others, participate in school wide challenges and be part of a music community!
Students in the piano and voice programs should plan to make a commitment for the school year. Our year has three semesters: Fall- September to November; Winter – December to April; and Spring & Summer – May to August. Students May register for just one semester or the whole year.
Classes are capped at five students in Neepawa and three students in Gladstone. If you wish to have Individual or Family Classes please contact me for details and pricing.
