What if I miss a Class or the Class is cancelled?
Although there are 29 weeks of classes scheduled please be prepared for a few to be cancelled due to bad weather or teacher illness. These have already been factored into tuition. No refunds will be given, and no classes will be made up. If a class is cancelled due to weather or illness a group text message will be sent as soon as possible after the decision to cancel is made, this is not a perfect system – I apologize in advance if this causes inconvenience. If your child is sick (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing or has a runny nose) do not bring them to class. They will be sent home. In the case of prolonged illness (teacher or student) we will discuss various options then. If you are unable to attend a class, please let me know as soon as possible, however there will be no make-ups given. Please note: If possible I will hold classes online that would otherwise be cancelled due to weather or sickness, and any change of class plan will be sent through text.
What if I need to discontinue classes?
Plan to commit for the full semester, and if possible the full year. If a student wishes to terminate their enrolment mid-year, they are required to pay for the remainder of the current semester. Attendance for the rest of the semester is at the student’s discretion. If you do need to withdraw at the end of a semester, please let me know a month in advance to avoid being charged for the next semester. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance (loss of income, prolonged illness, or family emergency) that requires termination, You are required to pay any balance owing.
